When planning my wedding I was adamant that I did not want a cake, as I don't think many people particularly like fruit cake with marzipan and icing.  When a friend told me about Zucchero and pointed me towards the website I thought WOW! This really is something different.  I booked a consultation with Massimo and when my husband and I turned up we were completely amazed by the 'dummy' cakes on show.  We flipped through the extensive portfolio, which has something to suit all tastes.  We booked our cake, Assissi, and were amazed that we really could have anything we wanted - sponge flavour, alcohol flavour, mousse, fruit etc.  Massimo even matched the apricot colour of my bridesmaids dress onto the marble effect on the chocolate.
When the cake arrived on the big day everyone (including myself and my husband) were blown away.  It looked and tasted georgeous.  We had so many lovely comments from guests about it, and people still comment on how fabulous it was, even now.
